Live recording of an event at St Edmund’s Church, Gateshead (UK) in February 2013. St Edmund’s is the oldest building in Gateshead and dates back to the 13th century.
The event included performances by the Noize Choir and two groups of electronic musicians from the North East of England; Wax magnetic & Steve Legget.
The Noize Choir was formed by a group of Tyneside based ’noise’ enthusiasts to explore the sonic possibilities of the human voice outside the traditional choral setting. Using only the vocal chords they interpret everything from bus stations & light pollution to extra terrestrial radio frequencies & star constellations.
Wax Magnetic are Mariam Rezaei & Posset.
Steve Legget has previously produced music as Four Hands.
A C60 cassette tape of the live recording comes in a clear poly-case, hand stamped with artwork.
Also includes full download of tracks plus over 50 minutes of bonus material; Noize Choir remixes from Steve Legget, Signal's label boss Mike McHugh and clandestine North East (UK) producer Shemale who has released material on labels such as Bunker, Further Records, F.I.R and Last Known Trajectory.
